As an e-commerce brand, you have what seems like endless options available for setting up your online store. As a digital marketing agency, we have a lot of opinions (and experience) on what works best for e-commerce brands — and our preferred platform is Shopify! Let’s talk about why.

Mattered ❤️’s Shopify – here are a few reasons you should too.

Ease of use

Shopify has one of the most user-friendly interfaces we’ve seen. Don’t get us wrong — we’re not looking for an easy way out, but we are looking for simplicity for our clients. Shopify is built so beginners can understand how to create their online store with ease. The best part? It’s easy for customers to navigate too.

An element of Shopify that makes the shopping experience simpler is Shop Pay! Shop Pay lets customers save their email address, credit card, and shipping and billing information for an easy-breezy checkout. And, it’s a look many shoppers will recognize. More familiarity -> more trust = more likely to shop with your brand.

Aesthetics matter

A simple user experience tops our list of most valuable features (MVF), but we need to be honest — looks matter too! A visually appealing storefront can make all the difference to potential customers. Shopify offers an incredible selection of artfully designed themes to choose from, organized by industry such as Food & Beverage or Jewelry & Accessories — created with your business in mind!

In addition to looking the part, Shopify’s themes are mobile responsive, which is crucial in today’s smartphone-centric shopper. If your theme was designed with Shopify, you don’t have to worry about your storefront looking off when viewed on mobile.

Enhance, enhance, enhance

Speaking of a potential mishap on mobile, an important step in getting your storefront up and running is the testing phase! Shopify offers a development store — where you’ll be able to view demos, test different themes, or apps. If your look is already established but you’re thinking of switching things up, your development store is the place to experiment without worrying about publishing something you don’t love.

We mentioned earlier that Shopify was created to be simple — and at the base level, it is. However, you can add a lot of complexity to your page through integrations — like Yotpo and Klaviyo (a couple of our favorites) — that have the ability to upgrade your storefront and improve your revenue.

In our opinion, Shopify is an essential tool all e-commerce brands need to be utilizing to optimize their efforts. Want to learn more about integrations on Shopify? Or how Shopify can increase your traffic and conversion rates? Let’s hop on a call and take a deep dive into all the ways Shopify can benefit your brand.
